Fundamental Skills for Living with Dementia

 

  • Session 1Speak the Language of Dementia: A New Way of Communicating
    Learn to understand, respond and connect in meaningful ways when the old ways of communicating are less effective.
  • Session 2Minimize Challenging Behavioral Symptoms
    Learn about Habilitation, an evidence based and effective approach to care in the most challenging times.
  • Session 3Balance Independence and Safety: Predicting the Unpredictable
    Learn when and how to make necessary changes at home.
  • Session 4 – Discussion and Review

Courses are offered monthly, mornings and evenings. Choose what works for you for this 4 session course.

All courses are offered by Zoom.
