Programs for Everyone

These offerings are open to the community at large. You do not need to be a patient at MGH or a caregiver for a patient.

Conversations with Caregivers
Our signature program for everyone who wishes to attend – Conversations with Caregivers is a monthly forum featuring a speaker who is an expert in their field of practice.
Health and Resiliency
A healthy lifestyle is important for all of us. Our monthly Health and Resiliency Seminars aim to strengthen our body and mind by learning and experiencing skills alongside a supportive community.
Ageless Grace
Ageless Grace® exercises address joint mobility, spinal flexibility, coordination, bone density, balance, awareness, confidence and overall health. Every BODY is welcome. Class movements are done seated to upbeat music, they are accessible to most everyone.
Move Together: Virtual Exercise
Move Together virtual classes are designed to support both persons living with dementia and their caregivers through movement, connection, and wellness.

Due to limited capacity, the Dementia Care Collaborative can provide individualized and small group services to patients who are seen in the following MGH clinics:

Individualized Care Consultation
Individualized Care Consultation sessions offer an opportunity to discuss each family member’s specific concerns and their family’s needs.
Caregiver Support Groups
Groups provide a unique space for people living a shared experience to give and receive support, share resources, express possible feelings of guilt and grief, and often to find unexpected moments of lightness and humor.
Memory Care Initiative
Massachusetts General Hospital is one of three pilot practices for the Mass General Brigham Memory Care Initiative.
Fundamental Skills Course for Caregivers
This four-part course for family, friends, and caregivers provides practical strategies for successful day to day interactions and an approach to care that is holistic and therapeutic for everyone.
